  • When preparing foods be very careful not to contaminate fruits or vegetable with uncooked meat juices.
  • Wash your hands frequently.
  • Cook any poultry to 165 degrees for at least 15 seconds. Use a food thermometer.
  • Cooked foods or foods requiring refrigeration should not be at room temperature for more than two hours.
